Larisa's Accomplishments

Larisa is a Jewish immigrant from the former USSR who moved to the United States in 1979 when she was 6 years old along with her parents and two sisters under Religious Asylum. Larisa grew up in what is now Sunny Isles Beach after moving here in 1987. She went to North Miami Beach Senior High School before moving to NYC for College and eventually a career in advertising for one of the largest media agencies in the world managing over $300 million in advertising. There she learned vital people, money and management skills that have helped her excel in her former position as Commissioner and Mayor.

For me, being Mayor isn't just an honor, it's personal. My family has been in Sunny Isles Beach since 1987 and I am fully committed to making sure that what has always been so special and vibrant about this community remains so for my own children and the generations that follow.

I will continue to be a Mayor that works with everyone and brings all stakeholders of the City together - the residents, the condo associations and the business community to ensure that we preserve and protect the character of our City. I have never had a divisive approach to public service because I believe that when everyone has a seat at the table the City comes out on top every time.

At no other time has our world class city been so divided. It is time for unity, transparency, and freedom to make choices that make sense for our families.

My vision for Sunny Isles Beach is centered around listening to you, advocating for you, and executing for you. As a dedicated public servant my role is to represent the people of Sunny Isles Beach. To be successful requires a 100% commitment, this means being available to you every day of the week, and always leaving my door open. The role of the government is to be accessible and transparent; I will continue to be both those things as I have been for the last five years. My dedication led to me pursuing a Master's in Government from Harvard University which I graduated from in May 2022, because a true leader must be willing to do the hard work, to put in the time, to keep promises, and to inspire communication.

Vote for me on November 8th.

Larisa has and will always fight for the residents of our City first, bringing real change to improve the lives and safety of all.

No Turn On Red Signs

Along with Yield To Pedestrian Signs at key intersections throughout City. While more can still be done to improve Pedestrian Safety this is more than other administrations have done.

Home Rule Hero

Larisa has been honored over multiple years for her work fighting for home rule allowing the City to make decisions that fit our residents rather than set by the State.

Safeguarding Our Aging Buildings

After the tragic building collapse in Surfside, Larisa immediately sprung to action and had our building department review all buildings at or near their 40 year recertification.

Promises Not Lies

Larisa has never lied to gain favor with residents and will always be honest about what can and can't be done. She will always fight for what is right for the residents and not her personal interest.

Miami-Dade Task Force for Condo Reform

Due to her leadership she was appointed by Mayor Cava Levine to the County's Task Force for Condo Reform to ensure the concerns and safety of our residents were addressed.

Leading with Common Sense

Larisa has always put facts over fear and led with common sense over nonsense. We need this back in City hall before the exodus of staff brings the City to a complete halt.
